"I love it, man I'm 23 years old and I'm lucky enough to write movies as a job! I just feel really blessed and can't believe it's happening."

"I just like to act and write and produce. To me, making movies is the ultimate goal."

"It's harder to be funny if you're handsome than if you're very normal-looking. It's just more relatable. You're the underdog. "'Allen Gregory' came about because we wanted an animated show and we were just tossing around some ideas about me playing a 7-year-old. We thought that would be cool, because we couldn't do that in real life."

"I love changing. I hate it when people try to box me in to a relationship or in a work context. Any situation where I feel boxed in freaks me out. And I feel the need to reinvent myself or I'll get bored."

"They tell me that it will be hard to find a man strong enough to love my own strength and independence, and not worry about being Mr. Diana Ross, but I disagree. I know absolutely that that man is somewhere out there."

"Arbitrary power is like most other things which are very hard, very liable to be broken."

"My character Lena is somebody who responds to people in a very simple way. I didn't have to take myself off to a darkened room to concentrate, I just had to try and be open. It's an interesting, subtle relationship."
